The problem
Casual runners lose players early when restarts are slow or obstacles repeat. The brief was immediate action, instant respawns and physical comedy that makes people laugh and try again.
Our approach
We built a fail-fast tower in Unity: one-thumb movement, timing-based slap knockbacks, moving hazards and checkpoints that put you back in the action straight away.
What we built
A full vertical runner loop with physics knockback, tiered tower stages, cosmetic unlocks and a camera that follows the climb smoothly.
Results
A lightweight, responsive client with near-instant retries and a small memory footprint, so it runs on a wide range of devices.
- Optimized Unity physics and smooth vertical camera tracking for low-latency feedback
- Modular level architecture enabling rapid content iteration, level expansion, and A/B tests
- Full offline gameplay support with lightweight asset bundling for emerging market reach
